MASTER TEACHER OUTCOME 1

Outcome 1 Reflection

Employs the central concepts, tools of inquiry, and structure of the discipline (s) he or she teaches and creates learning experiences that make these aspects of subject matter meaningful for diverse learners. 

This Instructional Design Plan was created during my Digital Media Technologies class (DMET 530). It is an instructional design plan designed for high school students at the Spanish II level or above.  The plan is designed for students to learn and comprehend grammar and sentence structure in Spanish on a specific topic, which is Distinguished Latino in America. Students will also demonstrate the proper use of past tense verbs in the Spanish Language.

The Unit Plan supports the outcome because the lessons were designed with a summary of diverse learners in mind.  It also summarized the goals and objectives while comparing the actual and optimal learning environment. Creating the instructional plan helped me understand the importance of analyzing the learners and the space in which they learn. Whether it be face-to-face or in an online environment.
